Cover Supervisors play a vital role within schools and are required to carry out pre-planned lessons for short-term teacher absences. The role of a cover supervisor is a great step for those who are aspiring to be teachers as well as recent graduates who are looking to gain classroom experience.

1. Creating a positive learning environment for the students and helping them develop with their academic studies.
2. Supervising students' behaviour and referring to the school's behaviour management policy if required.
3. Displaying subject knowledge to students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
4. Following the school's safeguarding policies, ensuring a safe environment for the students.

1. Flexibility to cover multiple subjects and to correspond with any last minute requirements.
2. Excellent communication skills with a passion for making an impact on students' lives.
3. Previous experience preferred, but not essential.
4. A university degree.
5. An enhanced DBS on the update service, or willing to apply for one.
