An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate and dedicated Female PE Teacher to join a thriving and well-resourced PE department at a highly regarded secondary school in Essex. We are seeking a motivated individual who is committed to promoting physical health, teamwork, and personal development through high-quality teaching and a strong extracurricular offering.
The Role:
The successful candidate will teach PE across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the opportunity to contribute to examination PE at Key Stage 4 and/or 5, depending on experience. You will be joining a supportive and experienced team, where collaboration and innovation are encouraged. The department places a strong emphasis on inclusivity, student engagement, and fostering a lifelong love of sport and physical activity.
We are looking for someone who:
Is an enthusiastic and well-qualified PE teacher (QTS essential)
Has a strong understanding of the PE curriculum and current pedagogical approaches
Is committed to promoting participation, wellbeing, and performance in sport for all students
Is confident in organising and leading extracurricular activities, fixtures, and clubs
Can serve as a positive female role model, inspiring students to achieve both on and off the field
Works well within a team and contributes to a positive school culture
