Job summary
A leading beverage company is seeking a Supply Chain Leader for a 12-month contract based in the UK. This hybrid role focuses on overseeing planning activities and ensuring product availability across commercial and operational teams. The ideal candidate should have significant experience in supply chain roles, particularly in pharma or consumer goods, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in planning systems like SAP. The position offers a competitive hourly rate and the flexibility of hybrid working.
Qualifications
- Experience in a planning or supply-chain role within pharma, consumer goods or a similar industry.
- Ability to work across functions and influence without authority.
- Comfortable working with planning systems (SAP or similar).
Responsibilities
- Oversee planning and market-supply activity across the UK/Ireland region.
- Align forecasts and priorities with commercial and operations teams.
- Identify stock risks early and resolve issues with stakeholders.

Salary: £45 per hour (to umbrella), 37.5 hrs per week; Hybrid (2–3 days per week in Hook). The role guides planning activity across the UK and Ireland, ensuring strong product availability and aligned forward outlooks across commercial and operational teams.
- Oversee planning and market‑supply activity across the UK/Ireland region.
- Align forecasts and priorities with commercial, operations, finance and quality teams.
- Identify stock risks early and bring the right stakeholders together to resolve issues.
- Support product launches with aligned outlooks and early performance tracking.
- Improve planning processes and provide guidance to local teams.
- Support manufacturing and associated products, contributing to the technical strategic vision and roadmap within the manufacturing product group or series of related products to ensure the technology ecosystem supports the needs of the product teams.
- Experience in a planning or supply‑chain role within pharma, consumer goods or a similar industry.
- Ability to work across functions and influence without authority.
- Strength in interpreting data, spotting trends and shaping recommendations.
- Comfortable working with planning systems (SAP or similar).
- Strong communication and stakeholder‑coordination skills.
