Job summary

Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust (CPFT) invite applicants to apply for an Advanced Nurse Practitioner post. This is a substantive post based at The Newtown Centre in Huntingdon, within the Adult Locality Team.

The post holder will provide inspirational specialist nursing leadership within the Team, including specialist assessments and nursing interventions to service users. Promote an effective ethos across the service, working closely with the Team and Service Managers; participate in review of clinical policies and guidelines relevant to the service and support and implement changes to practice. Liaise with other organisations and professionals to promote communication and good practice; be able to undertake audit activity and supervision to other staff in the team. Have an understanding and take leadership of appropriate interventions.

The post holder will be expected to hold the Non-Medical Prescribing qualification and support with medical reviews under the supervision of the teams consultant psychiatrist

The post holder will also be expected to hold a caseload.

Main duties of the job
