A leading supply chain company is seeking an experienced Class 2 HIAB driver to join their home delivery team in Huntingdon. You will be responsible for the accurate delivery of items to customer premises, providing excellent customer service, and adhering to safe working practices. Successful candidates will have a full UK driving license with Class 2 entitlement and a HIAB licence is advantageous. Qualifications

  • No more than 6 penalty points on driving license.
  • Successful applicant will be subject to a DBS check.

Here atGXO Logistics, we are looking for a full-time, permanentClass 2 HIAB driverto join our home delivery team inHuntingdon for our customer,Wickes.

You will be contracted to work39 hoursper week,working 5 days out of 6 days Monday to Saturday. Start times 07:00. You will be required to work Saturdays during a 10-week peak period.

Successful candidates with be required to pass a DBS search

What you'll do on a typical day:
  • Responsible for the accurate, timely movement of multi drop and delivery of our customers' products to our customer premises
  • Providing excellent face to face customer service to customer
  • As required delivery of bulk items to customer homes using a class 2 HIAB vehicle from Wickes stores
  • Complying with all relevant legislation in line with Drivers Hours and Working Time Directive requirements.
  • Adhering to safe working practices to always ensure the safety of yourself and others
  • A flexible approach to working start times as dictated by the needs of the business.
What you need to succeed at GXO:
  • A full UK driving licence with category Class 2 entitlement
  • HIAB licence (ALLMI or equivalent) is advantageous
  • A valid Driver Qualification Card (Driver CPC)
  • Be in possession of a valid Digital Tachograph Card
  • No more than 6 current penalty points
  • Successful applicant will be subject to a DBS check
  • No DR, DG, DD, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT99 endorsements with a conviction date within the previous 5 years
