Cover Supervisors play a vital role in maintaining continuity of learning when teachers are absent, ensuring students remain on task and engaged. • Supervise classes during teacher absences, ensuring students stay focused on set work.
• Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
• Provide support and encouragement to help students complete their learning activities.
• Report back to the appropriate teacher on student progress and any issues arising.
• Contribute positively to the school environment, upholding safeguarding and well-being standards.

• Previous experience working with young people in an educational or similar setting is desirable.
• Strong behaviour management and communication skills.
• Ability to engage and motivate students across KS3 and KS4.
• A flexible, proactive, and professional approach.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
