Job summary
A global business process management company in Birmingham is seeking a Payroll Advisor to process payroll for employees in Ireland. The position requires proficiency in SAP Payroll and a strong understanding of Irish payroll tax laws. Ideal candidates will possess excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a proactive team spirit. This is a 12-month fixed term role with potential for permanence.

- Processing weekly and monthly payroll for employees in Ireland in an accurate and timely manner
- Managing payroll related queries and resolving any discrepancies in a timely and accurate manner
- Ensuring adherence to current payroll tax requirements and relevant laws specifically for Irish Regulations
- Collaborating with the Time and Attendance team for Ireland to ensure timely and accurate submission of information
- Collaborating with local HR teams in Ireland
- Contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
- Preparing and submitting reports as required
- Proficiency in relevant payroll software specifically SAP Payroll
- Strong understanding of payroll tax laws and procedures relevant to Ireland
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (particularly Excel)
- Proactive team player
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
