Various shift patterns and hours are available, including days and nights, to help you fit work around your lifestyle!

1. AM/Mornings Class 1 Driver – Basic salary is £38,000 pa, based on 48 hours per week. Hours of work are Monday – Friday, from 04:00hrs – 14:00hrs.
2. PM/Evenings Class 1 Driver – Basic salary is £42,000 pa (includes shift allowance of £17.50 per shift for any shifts starting between 12:00hrs and 02:00hrs), based on 48 hours per week. Hours of work are Monday – Friday, from 16:00hrs – 02:00hrs.

The position of Class 1 Driver involves:

• Delivering to retail stores on curtain side and box trailers on single and double deck trailers.
• Collecting multiple containers from port for delivery to distribution centre.
• Planning routes on a day-to-day basis.
• Completing daily vehicle checks on your company phone.
• Keeping in regular contact with the transport team for updates on progress and managing customer expectations.
• Attending regular training sessions.

Essential skills required for Class 1 Driver:

• Must have a UK Class 1 (CE) Driving Licence.
• Hold a current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
• Experience of delivering loads directly to client sites is advantageous.
• Be passionate about providing excellent customer service.
• Ability to work to deadlines.
• Confident, polite, and a team player.
• Good geographical knowledge.
• Applicants must be fit, flexible, hardworking, and self-motivated due to the nature of the role.
