A community-focused organisation in Thornaby-on-Tees is seeking a motivated PA and Governance Assistant to provide high-quality administrative support. You will coordinate various tasks, organise meetings, and support governance processes. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, be proactive and detail-oriented. We are looking for a highly motivated and proactive PA and Governance Assistant to join the Finance and Business Support Directorate. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual who thrives in a dynamic environment and is passionate about providing high‑quality administrative support. In this role, you will work closely with our Senior Management Team (SMT), the Board, and the Governance and Assurance Manager, helping to ensure the smooth running of our governance and corporate functions.
As a PA and Governance Assistant, you will play a key role in organising and coordinating a wide range of administrative tasks, from organising meetings and events to supporting governance processes and providing key services to the Finance and Procurement teams.
The role requires an individual who is proactive, organised, and able to work under pressure while managing multiple priorities. The ideal candidate will be comfortable making decisions independently and demonstrating initiative. You will have excellent communication skills and attention to detail, enabling you to support governance and corporate tasks efficiently.
