Job summary
A well-known recruitment platform is seeking a Manual QA Tester with exposure to automation for a 4-month contract in Milton Keynes. The role involves performing manual testing on web and mobile applications and creating test plans and cases. Candidates should have experience with Agile methodologies and strong testing skills. Nice to have experience with automation tools like Selenium or Cypress. The day rate is GBP 190, outside IR35.

- Perform manual testing of web and mobile applications across different devices and browsers.
- Create, execute, and maintain test cases, test plans, and test scenarios.
- Identify, log, and track defects, working closely with developers to ensure timely resolution.
- Support regression, functional, UAT, and exploratory testing activities.
- Assist with basic automation testing and contribute to improving test coverage where possible.
- Collaborate with product and development teams to ensure quality throughout the delivery lifecycle.
- Proven experience as a Manual QA Tester.
- Strong experience testing web:based and mobile applications (iOS/Android).
- Solid understanding of QA methodologies and testing best practices.
- Experience writing clear test cases and defect reports.
- Comfortable working in a fast:paced, agile environment.
- Exposure to test automation tools or frameworks (e.g. Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium).
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.
