Job summary

A leading aviation contractor in the UK is seeking experienced Aircraft Mechanics/Fitters for a long-term contract based in Stansted, Essex. The role offers an hourly wage of £28.05 outside IR35 and includes day shifts. Candidates should have a completed apprenticeship or comparable experience, strong technical knowledge of aircraft, and a full clean UK driving license. This position requires flexibility in working hours and legal authorization to work in the UK.

Qualifications

• Completed a recognised apprenticeship, formal training program or demonstrated comparable qualifications and experience.
• Experience working in a Base Maintenance environment.
• Strong technical knowledge of aircraft.

Responsibilities

• Recruiting Aircraft Mechs / Fitters for Outside IR35 Contract.
• Must ensure compliance with Health and Safety and regulatory requirements.

Skills

Technical knowledge of Bombardier, Embraer or similar aircraft

Understanding of Health and Safety regulations
