Year 1 Primary Teacher – Permanent Position – Barnet

As the new Year 1 Teacher, you will:

• Plan and deliver engaging, creative lessons that lay strong foundations in phonics, literacy, and numeracy
• Work alongside a supportive and experienced Key Stage 1 team
• Create a safe, nurturing classroom environment where every child feels valued and motivated to learn
• Assess pupil progress effectively and tailor lessons to meet the needs of all learners
• Maintain strong communication with parents, colleagues, and the wider school community

• A qualified teacher (ECTs and experienced teachers are welcome to apply)
• A solid understanding of Key Stage 1 and the Year 1 curriculum
• A teacher who is nurturing, motivated, and passionate about early primary education
• Someone who is eager to contribute to a collaborative and supportive school team
