Are you an experienced and passionate Key Stage 1 teacher ready to make a real impact? We're looking for a dedicated Year 1 Teacher to join a welcoming and inclusive South London primary school that's on an exciting journey of improvement.
This is a long-term role (with the possibility of becoming permanent) for a Year 1 Teacher to join a small Year 1 class of just 16 children. You'll be supported by a full-time, experienced teaching assistant and work closely with the Assistant Head to ensure the best possible outcomes for pupils.
This position is ideal for a Year 1 Teacher with strong phonics knowledge, particularly Read Write Inc, and experience supporting children with SEN and challenging behaviour.
We're looking for someone confident, consistent, and nurturing - with the ability to raise phonics attainment ahead of the Year 1 Phonics Screening Check in June.
