EYFS (Reception) Teacher – Long-Term Role in Rickmansworth
Contract: Long-term from January 2026
Location:Rickmansworth
Salary: Competitive, based on experience

A well-regarded independent preparatory school in Rickmansworth is seeking a nurturing and enthusiastic EYFS Teacher to join its Reception team on a long-term basis. You’ll work collaboratively within a dedicated Reception team to deliver high-quality, play-based learning experiences that support each child’s development and curiosity.

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with EYFS principles

  • Create a continuous provision environment that fosters independence and creativity

  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistency and progression across the year group

  • Support pupil wellbeing through active participation in playground duties

  • Maintain open and effective communication with staff and families

  • Lead or assist with a weekly extracurricular club

  • Monitor and record pupil progress, celebrating achievements and identifying next steps

  • Attend weekly staff meetings and contribute to the wider school community

  • Holds QTS or EYTS with experience teaching in the EYFS
