A local care service provider in Malton is seeking Personal Care Assistants to support a gentleman in wheelchair with his daily activities. The role involves providing personal care and light domestic assistance for 16 hours per week, with flexible scheduling. Candidates are preferred to have a year's experience in care work and a driving license to assist with rural travel. Competitive hourly rate of £13.25 is offered, with additional pay on bank holidays.
Formación
- Experience in personal care preferred, with at least 1 year in care work.
- Having a UK Driving Licence is preferred.
Responsabilidades
- Provide personal care and support to a wheelchair user.
- Carry out light domestic duties and assist with shopping.
Conocimientos
We are looking for 1 to 2 Personal Care Assistants to cover 16 hours per week to support a lovely gentleman who is a wheelchair user, with his independent living. The gentleman lives in rural Helperthorpe near Malton so it is vital that the PA lives fairly local to the area and has the use of a car.
- Monday to Friday: 9 pm till 10 pm (flexible)
- Tuesday: 4.30 pm till 5.30 pm
- 4 call outs per Saturday & Sunday: 7am till 8am, 4.30pm till 5.30pm & 9pm till 10pm
- There are 16 hours per week and extra hours to cover holidays and sickness.
Personal Care, light domestic duties, and shopping. Due to the rural location it is essential that the PA's have access to a vehicle.
Rate of pay is £13.25 per hour with time and a half for bank holidays.
Pay: £12.10 per hour
