As a Registered Nurse at Avery Healthcare, you will be responsible for acting as the person in charge, standing in for the Manager as required and observing all instructions to act upon their behalf. Your focus will be to ensure high standards of care for the residents, which includes undertaking nursing tasks such as medication distribution, dressings, catheterisation, tube feeding, and management of chronic medical conditions. You will also be responsible for advising families of residents and GPs of any changes in condition, keeping them informed and involved in the ongoing care choices. Additionally, you will be responsible for the effective deployment and supervision of the care team, ensuring all tasks are completed during your shift and residents receive the required care. Providing high-quality care through accurate assessment and planning is also a key aspect of this role.
