A mental health organization is offering a full-time Apprenticeship at the Juniper Centre in Birmingham. The role involves greeting patients, managing reception duties, and providing clerical support. Ideal candidates should possess an outgoing personality, IT literacy, and strong organizational skills. This position requires flexibility and initiative within a compassionate and inclusive team.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full-time Apprentership to work within the Juniper Centre, Moseley Hall Hospital site. Our staff provide assessment, specialist support, treatment and care planning for service users with both functional and organic mental health problems. You will be the first point of contact for patients, staff and visitors to the building and it is essential that you present in a friendly and approachable manner. The reception is open five days a week, between 8am and 6pm. The appointee will cover a shift pattern with colleagues to ensure the service needs are met.
Ambassadors for the trust, reception staff will be on front desk, face-to-face contacts facilitating meet and greet of people entering the building, dealing with enquiries, and signposting to relevant departments. You will also be responsible for issuing keys, fobs and alarms, and overseeing day-to-day reception operation (e.g., maintaining supplies, preparing posters and display boards, and handling email requests for both reception and outpatients).
