A leading healthcare provider in England is seeking an enthusiastic consultant to join a dynamic rheumatology team. Candidates must be fully registered with the GMC and hold a Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT). The position involves working within an established community-based rheumatology service, providing treatment and care for patients with long-term conditions. 2 SPAs as standard for a full time post (we would be flexible in looking at enhancements to support other activities that support the wider ambitions of the Trust).
We are looking for an enthusiastic consultant colleague to join this forward thinking, dynamic team. There is an extensive multi-disciplinary team consisting of four Consultant Rheumatologists, a Consultant Physiotherapist, five Clinical Nurse Specialists, two Occupational Therapists, two Physiotherapists and a dedicated Pharmacist and Pharmacy Technician.
Applicants must be fully registered with the GMC and have a License to Practice, hold a Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) or be within 6 months of attaining CCT at the time of interview.
The Rheumatology Service in Central Lancashire is an established community-based service. The Minerva Health Centre provides accommodation for a range of community teams and services that provide ongoing treatment and care to people with long-term conditions. The service is part of an Integrated Musculoskeletal Service which includes rheumatology, MSK, physiotherapy, community pain and CFS service. In-reach is provided to the local acute trust.
