A regional healthcare provider in Glasgow invites applications for experienced staff nurses to join hospital-based Winter Response Teams for up to 6 months. This role supports medical and discharge wards and requires NMC registration. Opportunities for both full-time and part-time working patterns are available, with potential transitions into preferred nursing specialties. The position offers a valuable chance for professional development within the NHS.
We are inviting applications for permanent posts for experienced staff nurses to join hospital-based Winter Response Teams for up to 6 months, with potential transition in Spring 2026 into a post aligned to your preferred area of nursing practice, hospital and ward location including the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.
This is an exciting opportunity for experienced staff nurses who are looking to further develop their skills and experience. It’s also a great opportunity if you are a currently UK NMC registered staff nurse looking to return to the NHS or working as a staff but would like to work in a different clinical specialty.
NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is increasing our Adult Nursing workforce capacity to support additional medical/discharge wards opening at Gartnavel General Hospital and Inverclyde Royal Hospital. Opportunities exist across hospital locations including Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.
