A leading healthcare provider in Glasgow is seeking a Healthcare Support Worker to join their Winter Response Teams. The successful candidate will contribute to patient management and discharge planning across facilities while demonstrating excellent clinical and teamwork skills. This is a unique opportunity to enhance your career with a permanent role following the winter period.
NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is currently increasing our workforce capacity with our acute hospital sites to support additional medical / discharge wards opening at Gartnavel General Hospital and Inverclyde Royal Hospital.
Spending a period of time as part of our winter response team will give you an opportunity to use your experience and expertise in patient management and discharge planning. When the wards close you will be offered a substantive role across NHSGGC, including Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.
We are seeking candidates who can demonstrate excellent clinical skills, good critical reasoning skills with an adaptable and positive attitude. The ability to work on your own initiative but also as part of an integrated multidisciplinary team is essential along with flexibility. Most importantly you must have a passion for healthcare and care for our patients at the most vulnerable time.
If you are looking for a new challenge and want to take the next step in your career then we would love to hear from you.
We are looking for individuals who can contribute to patient management and discharge planning within winter response wards and across NHSGGC facilities as required.
