Job summary
A technology recruitment company is seeking a Network Engineer to join a traditional 3rdLine Infrastructure team in the East Midlands. The role requires management of network and server systems, along with 3rd line Infrastructure support. Cisco certification is highly desirable, along with experience in server and storage management. The position offers a salary between £35k - £45k per year in a collaborative team environment.
Qualifications
- Cisco certification is highly desirable.
- Experience with Microsoft application and desktop delivery solutions is important.
- Experience in IT Security is advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Work with the Systems and Development teams.
- Manage the network and server systems.
- Provide 3rd line Infrastructure support.

Lithium3 are working with a business in South Derby and we require the services of a Network Engineer on a permanent basis.
However, this role sits within a traditional 3rdLine Infrastructure team; so we also require Server and Storage experience too.
We require a Network Engineer / 3rdLine Infrastructure Engineer that would be the “to go person” when it comes to the Network, but we need for the successful candidate to help on the Server/ Storage side too as and when required.
Holding a Cisco certification is highly desirable.
This role is paying £35k - £45k and the role sits within a team of 8 within the Infrastructure team.
- Work the Systems and Development teams

- WLAN management as well as configuration
