• Develop and deliver engaging and creative music lessons according to the national curriculum
• Inspire and encourage students to develop their musical abilities and talents
• Plan and organize regular performances and concerts to showcase students' achievements
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to incorporate music into cross-curricular projects
• Assess and evaluate students' progress, providing constructive feedback and support
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes a love for music
• Engage with parents and guardians, providing regular updates on students' progress and achievements

• Bachelor's degree in Music or a related field
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Proven experience teaching music in a primary or secondary school setting
• Sound knowledge and understanding of the national curriculum for music
• Proficient in playing a musical instrument(s) and leading choirs and ensembles
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, colleagues, and parents
• Creativity and enthusiasm to deliver engaging and inspiring music lessons
• Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Valid DBS check (Disclosure and Barring Service)
