The Role
Join our growing Customer Success team as a Forward Deployed Engineer, where you’ll serve as the technical authority driving the acquisition of new creators across music, adventure travel, entertainment and experience-based businesses. In this role, you’ll champion the technical strengths and extensibility of Easol’s configurable platform showcasing how our architecture, integrations and data capabilities align with the evolving operational needs of modern experience creators.
You’ll design and deliver compelling solution narratives through technically robust sales presentations, discovery sessions, and live product demonstrations that illustrate not just feature capability, but the end-to‑end commercial value and measurable business impact Easol can unlock.
Acting as a strategic partner throughout the pre‑sales cycle, you’ll surface and qualify complex business and technical requirements, translate them into scalable solutions and identify high‑value opportunities where Easol’s platform can drive efficiency, revenue growth, and long‑term success for both our creators and the Easol ecosystem.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Deliver clear, compelling, and technically robust product demos both remote and on‑site that showcase Easol’s architecture and full platform value.
- Highlight Easol’s ecosystem including the website builder, checkout, Paystack payments, and custom workflows to show how creators can elevate their offerings.
- Own end‑to‑end technical delivery across deployments from prototype to production ensuring solutions drive measurable value.
- Build full‑stack systems that accelerate learning, unlock commercial impact, and integrate seamlessly with creator operations.
- Partner with Sales on deep discovery to understand requirements and tailor demos, solution narratives, and ROI stories.
- Embed with creator teams to understand operational needs, guide adoption, and ensure solutions meet growth objectives.
- Dive into platform features and integrations to create customised demos, workflows, and proofs‑of‑concept.
- Contribute hands‑on code when needed to maintain clarity, momentum, and quality.
- Identify and articulate high‑value opportunities such as revenue optimisation, efficiency gains, and conversion uplift.
- Scope work, plan delivery, and remove blockers while balancing speed, scope, and quality.
- Keep cross‑functional teams aligned through clear communication, progress updates, and strong follow‑through.
- Stay current on industry trends, competitive technologies, and creator vertical needs to keep pre‑sales and delivery strategies sharp.
- Collaborate with Customer Success for smooth handover, documentation, configuration, and onboarding.
- Work with Marketing to refine messaging, demo assets, and value propositions for target creator verticals.
- Codify effective patterns into tools, playbooks, and reusable technical assets.
- Provide structured field feedback to Product and Research to improve platform and model performance.
- Use AI to streamline demo preparation, automate pre‑sales tasks, and accelerate customised solution delivery.
- Apply AI insights to analyse customer data, identify opportunities, and improve forecasting and solution design.
- Champion adoption of emerging AI tools to boost productivity and enhance demo environments.
Experience / Required Skills
- Proven leadership in solutions consulting or pre‑sales, with a strong track record guiding customers through complex technical and operational evaluations. Demonstrated ability to translate intricate solution architectures into clear, outcome‑focused value propositions for senior stakeholders
- Deep technical acumen with the ability to rapidly understand, dissect, and articulate sophisticated SaaS solutions, acting as a trusted advisor throughout the entire pre‑sales cycle
- Exceptional communication and storytelling abilities, both written and verbal, capable of engaging diverse audiences ranging from technical practitioners to C‑level executives. Able to distil complexity into clarity without oversimplifying critical details
- Expert‑level discovery skills, including the ability to ask incisive, strategic questions that uncover customer challenges, map solution fit, and influence decision‑making across multiple personas
- Extensive experience working with configurable, customised, or enterprise‑grade B2B SaaS platforms, ideally within multi‑stakeholder or multi‑workflow environments. Comfortable shaping tailored solutions and building confidence in their long‑term value
- Collaborative leadership mentality, operating as a cross‑functional partner to sales, product, engineering, and customer success. Demonstrates the ability to coach others, elevate team performance, and contribute to scalable best practices for the wider go‑to‑market organisation
- Continuous learner with strong commercial awareness, staying ahead of industry trends, emerging technologies, and evolving customer expectations. Able to integrate new knowledge into solution strategy, thought leadership, and team enablement
