Job summary
A special mental health school in Banbury is looking for a Mental Health Teaching Assistant to support children facing social, emotional, and behavioral challenges. You will work Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 3:30 pm, earning between £85 and £95 per day. As a Mental Health Teaching Assistant, you will support children aged 5 to 16 who face various social, emotional, mental health and behavioural challenges. Many of these students find it difficult to manage their emotions and form healthy relationships with others. In this role, you will serve as a positive role model for all pupils, supporting the development of social skills, emotional regulation and encouraging healthy interactions with peers. You will help achieve this with a patient and empathetic approach.
