A leading healthcare provider in the UK is looking for healthcare staff to provide high-quality direct care for patients undergoing joint replacement and other orthopaedic procedures. The role involves supporting patient mobility, maintaining hygiene standards, and assisting in the induction of new staff. Candidates must have GCSE Maths and English and a relevant care qualification. Flexible working options are available.
Provide a high standard of direct care for patients pre and post joint replacement and other orthopaedic procedures. Work with the team to promote early post operative mobilisation as appropriate and support in length of stay to facilitate safe discharge from hospital.
Document accurately in line with UHNM Trust policy.
Be involved in the induction and mentoring of new staff where applicable and act as a role model to junior members of the team.
