Live in Gardener/Caretaker Job near Chichester

Our client requires an experienced, hands on gardener/groundsman/caretaker, who can take care of two of their properties, which are about a 10 minute drive away from each other.

The first property, which is where the accommodation of the ideal candidate will be situated, comprises of 8 acres. The other is 40 acres. The latter does have a full time and a part time groundskeeper to help.

Responsibilities:

• Hedging
• Woodland Management
• Lawn Care and Maintenance
• Garden and Grounds Maintenance
• Occasional driving duties
• Handyman duties such as minor repairs
• Liaising with Contractors
• Fence maintenance
• Use and maintenance of garden machinery
• Responsible for the alarm system

The ideal candidate will be hard working, able to work alone and in a team, be flexible, and a team player. Must own their own car to drive between both properties. No requirement to take equipment between the two as each estate has its allocated machineries and tools.

Working week: Monday to Friday, 40 hour week.

Accommodation: 3 bedroom cottage with council tax and utility bills included. Partner allowed.

Start Date: December 2025

Salary: £29,000 gross per annum
