This Trainee Mechanical Technician role will offer the successful candidate the chance to undergo comprehensive training and development to become a skilled engineer in the coming years. E3 Recruitment are proudly working with a Huddersfield based employer who are currently searching for a Trainee Mechanical Technician to join their team on a permanent basis. This employer is Huddersfield based and is easily commutable from Halifax, Bradford and Wakefield.

• Previous experience working in a hands‑on, similar environment in a position such as Assembly Fitter, Service Engineer Operative, Manufacturing Operative, Production operative or equivalent
• Good hands‑on skills, with the ability to effectively use hand, power and air tools
• The ability to read, interpret and work from engineering drawings
• The willingness to undergo internal & external training in order to develop skills and obtain qualifications

• Starting Salary: £26,000.00 - £28,000.00 depending on previous experience (increasing in the future as training progresses)
