Senior Mechanical Design Engineer (Manufacturing/Hydraulics)

Peterborough

£45,000-£55,000 + Training + Progression + Pension

In this role, you will be responsible for the design and manufacture of Mechanical Marine Hydraulic Systems, with an in-house CNC and Fabrication shop. You will also mentor Junior Mechanical Design Engineers.

The ideal candidate will have a background in Mechanical Engineering, with prior design experience, able to interpret and produce CAD drawings (specifically 3D CAD software), and have an understanding of FEA analysis and testing.

The role:

• Design and manufacture of Mechanical Hydraulic Systems
• Finite Element Analysis and Testing
• Maintain accurate Technical Documentation

The person:

• Background in Mechanical Engineering
• Experience with CAD design
