Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to support the Engineering Manager and provide technical leadership within a small, mixed-discipline design team.

Responsibilities

You will lead the design and development of new and existing products, taking responsibility for delivering high-quality mechanical solutions on time and within budget. This is a hands-on role involving CAD design (SolidWorks), concept development, design approval, and transfer of designs into production.

Qualifications

HNC (or higher) in Mechanical Engineering with strong industrial experience

Minimum 10 years' experience in mechanical engineering, ideally within manufacturing

Proven experience leading small projects and New Product Development

Strong SolidWorks skills (parts, assemblies, weldments, sheet metal)

Ability to manage multiple priorities and work both independently and as part of a team
