Job Description
Injection Molding Maintenance Mechanic
This position is responsible for repairing and maintaining production equipment and machinery and for performing tooling changeovers and setups.
Essential Duties Include:
- Tooling changeovers, set-ups in a timely manner
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment to optimize efficiency, downtime, quality, and safety
- Repair, replace, and adjust electrical or mechanical parts in the machines and equipment
- Perform preventative maintenance on injection molding machines and equipment
- Respond to maintenance issues from operators, packers, and plant supervision
- Communicate issues encountered with management and maintenance staff
