Job summary

A leading defense company is seeking a Vehicle Mechanic to maintain and repair vehicles for the armed forces and emergency services. This full-time, permanent role offers a competitive salary up to £32k, dependent on experience, and includes a range of benefits such as a matched contribution pension scheme and generous holiday allowance. You will work 37 hours a week and must have NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent. Experience with military vehicles is preferred but not mandatory.

Qualifications

  • Experience with military vehicles or specialist equipment is preferred.
  • Ability to conduct road tests and complete technical documentation.
  • Background in a dealership, garage, or military vehicle maintenance.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and repair vehicles supporting armed forces and emergency services.
  • Work towards achieving Security Check (SC) security clearance.
