Job Description

Taylor & Francis Group is offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced analyst to join our Marketing Analytics Team.

We are looking for a customer-focused individual who can transform data into compelling narratives.

As a key contributor, the Marketing Analyst will play a crucial role in shaping data-driven strategies, supporting stakeholders, and enhancing overall marketing performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Source, clean, and transform data from various sources
  • Produce customer segmentation models for marketing purposes
  • Analyse customer behaviour to provide actionable insights
  • Develop and maintain marketing dashboards to track key performance indicators
  • Assist marketing teams to design and implement data-driven marketing campaigns
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and strategies using a variety of tools and techniques including A/B testing
  • Assist with forecasting, trend analysis and scenario modelling
  • Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner
  • Assist in the development of marketing plans and strategies based on data analysis

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience as a Customer or Marketing Analyst
  • Skilled in profiling and segmenting customer data
  • Proficient in querying data using SQL
  • Experienced in implementing and analysing A/B tests
  • Proficient in creating interactive dashboards, ideally using Power BI or a similar tool
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Experience using Python, R or Alteryx for data transformation & manipulation purposes
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in statistical modelling techniques
  • Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to identify and address data discrepancies
  • Strong time management skills
  • Committed to continuous learning and self-development

Additional Information

Location: The successful candidate will be able to utilise our balanced working model. We ask that candidates live within a commutable distance of either our Milton Park, Abingdon office or our London Blackfriars office to ensure that as a balanced worker they can make it to our office locations to collaborate as required. There is an expectation for a minimum of 3 days per week in-person time.
