Job summary
A logistics company in Alton is seeking a proactive Dispatch Operative to facilitate smooth shipping and logistics operations. The ideal candidate will manage stock, prepare orders for dispatch, and maintain accurate records. Strong organizational, communication, and computer skills are essential. This full-time position offers a salary between £28,000 and £30,000 depending on experience, with a work schedule from 08:00 to 16:00, Monday to Friday.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in logistics, despatch, or a similar operational role.
- Confident using computer systems for booking, tracking, and stock management.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Run daily shipping reports and schedule customer shipments.
- Manage all goods-in, including booking stock items onto internal systems.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders accurately for dispatch.
