A healthcare provider specializing in palliative care is seeking a dedicated team member for their in-patient unit in Old Woking. This individual will be responsible for supporting patients with their nutritional needs and ensuring a safe environment for care. Essential skills include effective communication, monitoring supplies, and teamwork. The role also involves maintaining high standards of practice in alignment with hospice policies, focusing on delivering compassionate care to patients and their families during challenging times.
To work on the in-patient unit (IPU) at Woking and Sam Beare Hospice (WSBH) under the direction of the IPU manager, Nurse in Charge and as part of a multi-disciplinary team to support patients with all their nutritional needs.
Here at the hospice, we pride ourselves on giving exceptionally high standards of care to patients and their families through some of the most challenging times of their lives. In our IPU, in their own homes and in our Wellbeing Centre, our charity-based service specialises in palliative and end of life care for patients with complex life limiting illnesses who live in the North-West Surrey area.
