About the role:

As a Director leading our Operational Transfer Pricing team, you will play a pivotal role in advancing our operational transfer pricing solutions and driving our go-to-market efforts in the UK to meet the complex needs of our clients.

Operational Transfer Pricing involves the practical implementation and management of intercompany transfer pricing policies, alongside advising on the design of broader transfer pricing functions. The increasing complexity of intra-group arrangements, new technology, and tax authority focus on this area present significant opportunities to support international businesses with these changes.

This role requires knowledge and experience of transfer pricing principles, their application to multinational businesses, and familiarity with finance systems and software solutions, including the latest advances in AI.

You will oversee engagements, build client relationships, support our technology alliance relationships, and drive innovation in transfer pricing technology.

You will be part of our UK Transfer Pricing Team, which consists of problem solvers with extensive consulting and industry experience addressing complex business issues from strategy to execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their operational transfer pricing needs, business strategies, and providing innovative, technology-driven solutions.

• Collaborate with senior stakeholders across the tax network to build new client relationships, identify, and pursue new market opportunities.

• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert in transfer pricing, staying current with technical developments, tax law changes, and technological advances to advise clients and internal stakeholders, including delivering sessions at client and knowledge events.

• Oversee large-scale tax transformation projects from inception to delivery, ensuring alignment with client objectives and regulatory requirements.

• Lead and develop a team of operational transfer pricing professionals focused on technology and advisory services, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

• Develop and deliver thought leadership and market-facing materials.

The skills and experience we are looking for:

• Extensive experience in operational transfer pricing, technology, and transformation.

• Experience in both in-house roles and practice, preferably with a Big Four firm.

• Deep knowledge of transfer pricing processes, methodologies, and technology solutions.

• Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships, understanding client needs and delivering value-added solutions.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, leveraging data and technology for decision-making.

• Excellent communication skills to articulate complex tax technology concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Experience leading and developing high-performing teams of practitioners.

• Experience implementing operational transfer pricing solutions in large multinational enterprises is preferred.
