We're seeking a bright, ambitious individual to join their dynamic team as a Graduate Temporary Works Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience on significant construction projects and develop a crucial skill set.
The Opportunity
As a Graduate Temporary Works Manager, you'll be instrumental in ensuring the safety and stability of temporary structures on complex construction sites. You'll work closely with experienced engineers and project teams, learning the principles of design, checking, and management for everything from scaffolding and falsework to earthworks support and crane bases.
Assisting in the planning, design brief preparation, and coordination of temporary works across multiple projects.
Reviewing and checking temporary works designs provided by internal and external design teams.
Collaborating with site teams to ensure the safe and correct implementation of approved temporary works.
Conducting site inspections and audits to verify compliance with design specifications and company standards.
Maintaining comprehensive records and documentation related to temporary works management.
A Degree (BEng or MEng) in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering (or a closely related discipline).
