Job summary
An industry leading business in Cambridge is looking for a part-time temporary accounting professional. The successful candidate will manage sales invoicing, balance sheet reconciliations, and more. Ideal applicants should have prior accounting experience, good system and Excel skills, and a detail-oriented work approach. This role is for 3 days a week, providing a valuable opportunity for those looking to contribute to an established firm.
Qualifications
- Experience in a similar accounting role is essential.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles is necessary.
- Proficiency in system usage and Excel skills.
Responsibilities
- Handle sales invoicing as part of accounting procedures.
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations for accurate financial reporting.
- Post journals to maintain financial records.
- Maintain the fixed asset register for effective asset management.
- Complete additional ad hoc duties as required.
Skills
An opportunity has arisen to join an industry leading business on a part time, temporary basis. This role will be for 3 days per week, based in their office just outside of Cambridge. The role has become available due to an internal staff absence.
- Sales invoicing

As the successful applicant you will have experience working in a similar role previously with good knowledge of accounting principles. You will also have good system and excel skills, be an effective communicator and be organised and accurate within your work approach.
