An expanding service organization in Nottingham is seeking a Junior Accountant to join their team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to kick-start your career in finance, focusing on management accounts preparation, credit control, and budgeting. Ideal candidates will have a degree in Accountancy, Finance, or similar fields and exhibit strong analytical and numeric problem-solving skills, coupled with a strong work ethic.
Qualifications
- A degree in Accountancy and Finance ideally, although Maths or Economics also suitable.
- A high level of analytical and numerical problem-solving skills.
- Strong work ethic.
Responsibilities
- Preparation of monthly management accounts.
- Credit control over multiple ledgers.
- Cashflow analysis.
- Adhoc reporting.
- Month-end accounting support.
- Assist with preparation of budgets and forecasts.

* Assist with the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
* Develop methods to gain a greater understanding of the figures in a timely manner.
What are we looking for?
* Degree in Accountancy and Finance ideally although Maths or Economics also suitable
* A highlevel of analytical and numerical problem-solving skills
* Strong work ethic
