Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Days: Monday to Friday, 3 Shift

Salary: £42,000 + Pension + Overtime

Location: Chesterfield

My client is one of the UK's leading privately owned manufacturers within their sector who have been established over 40 years. Supplying a wide range of industries. With a global market presence, the group has gone from strength to strength over the last decade to become centre of excellence within the industry they specialise in. Due to further expansion within the UK market; they need to recruit an additional Electrical Maintenance Engineer.

• Apprentice Trained Engineer in Electrical Engineering
• Experience in a heavy manufacturing environment
• Understanding of PPM systems

The ideal candidate will come from an electrical engineering background and should be able to work on their own initiative with experience of PPM and TPM. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of day-to-day engineering and maintenance activities ensuring work is carried out to the highest standards and maximising machine efficiencies. On a typical shift you will be working with casting ovens, furnaces, melting equipment so experience within a heavy industry would be preferable. The company offer a huge amount of development on offer, so the successful candidate will be in line to broaden their skills considerably, with the possibility of taking on a supervisory role in the future.
