FAA A&P Mechanics | Long-Term Contract | East Midlands Airport (EMA)
We’re offering a long-term opportunity for experienced FAA A&P Mechanics to work on the iconic Queen of the Skies – the B747 at East Midlands Airport (EMA) in the UK.
This role provides the chance to join a world-class maintenance team with flexible shifts, competitive pay rates, and experience working on wide-body aircraft in a supportive environment.
Location: East Midlands Airport, United Kingdom
Position: FAA A&P Mechanic
Aircraft Experience: 747-400 experience preferred; other widebody experience considered
Contract Type: Long-term, ongoing
Start Date: Immediate and rolling throughout the year
Pay Rates: Updated competitive rates
Requirements:
- Valid FAA A&P license
- Hands-on experience with commercial aircraft maintenance (wide-body preferred)
- Knowledge of B747 systems (CF6 or PW4000 experience is a plus)
- Eligibility to work in the UK
- Ability to follow technical data, maintenance manuals, and complete documentation accurately
- Strong communication skills and teamwork ability
- Flexibility for day/night shifts and weekends
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and non-routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs
- Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Ensure accurate maintenance documentation
- Maintain safety, quality, and airworthiness standards
- Collaborate with engineers and other mechanics for aircraft turnaround
