Role : Transport Compliance Manager Location : Wakefield Salary : £42,500 - £45,000

A well-established, rapidly growing UK business with a nationwide operation is seeking a Transport Compliance Manager to take ownership of driver and vehicle compliance across a substantial national fleet.

Reporting to the Head of Transport, this role is central to maintaining operational safety, legal compliance, and efficiency across multiple sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain all vehicle compliance records - service history, MOTs, brake tests, LOLER.
  • Manage a rolling 12-month maintenance schedule.
  • Conduct and lead 6-monthly compliance audits.
  • Oversee defect reporting, investigation, and resolution.
  • Monitor driver hours and tachograph data via Tachomaster.
  • Investigate missing mileage, card issues, and lead-in time compliance.
  • Liaise with the transport team to communicate compliance updates.
  • Ensure third-party suppliers meet all legal and safety obligations.
Key Experience
  • Proven experience as a Transport Compliance Manager within a Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain environment.
  • Strong knowledge of DVSA regulations and tachograph legislation.
