The Role

• This practice is looking to grow with the addition of a Court of Protection Lawyer to join their busy and growing Worthing, West Sussex office.
• This highly regarded Court of Protection team is looking for a dedicated Solicitor or Legal Executive to specialise in property and financial affairs. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive, collaborative firm where your work has a meaningful impact. Duties will include:
• Draft and submit CoP applications and witness statements, including Court Panel referrals
• Provide clear, compassionate advice to clients, their families, and third parties
• Handle complex legal matters while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality
• Work within the framework of the Mental Capacity Act 2005, applying least restrictive principles

Requirements:

• You will be a Court of Protection Solicitor or Legal Executive (CILEX) with experience in property and financial affairs
• You will work well in a team
• You will be client care focused and driven
