Family Law Solicitor
Location: Bristol & Surrounding Areas
Salary: Up to £60,000 DOE + Excellent Benefits
Working Arrangement: Hybrid (1 day in-office per week)

About the Role
A new opportunity has arisen for a Family Law Solicitor (NQ to Lead level) to join a growing and innovative legal team. This is a rare chance to take ownership of a varied caseload within a highly rated, client-focused department. The role will involve:

  • Managing a full and varied caseload of privately funded family matters, including divorce, financial remedy, and children matters.

  • Negotiating settlements and outcomes with a focus on client care.

  • Using a case management system to ensure accurate and efficient case progression.

  • Drafting and auditing legal documents and correspondence.

  • Working towards individual and team chargeable time and billing targets.

  • Providing mentorship and line management if at senior or lead level.

  • Contributing to team strategy, marketing, and department development (Lead level only).

To be successful in this role, you will:

  • Be a qualified Solicitor or CILEX with experience in family law.

  • Demonstrate solid billing performance and target achievement.

  • Be proficient in using case management systems and legal IT tools.

  • Possess strong interpersonal and client care skills.

  • Show excellent attention to detail and organisational ability.

  • Be proactive and open to change in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
