Our client is a leading UK chambers of medico-legal experts. They offer services to law firms in personal injury, clinical negligence, employment law, criminal, and private law matters. They are now looking for a Paralegal to join the team. The role would suit applicants who are looking to work in a rapidly expanding company.

The Role:

• Managing a caseload of pre-action and litigious medico-legal matters on behalf of our medical experts and clients.
• Ensuring all experts are aware of key dates, including Court timetabled dates and Court-listed hearing dates.
• Corresponding with clients via email and telephone.
• Uploading new instructions onto our bespoke file sharing platform.
• Indexing, paginating, and extracting relevant documents/medical records for review by experts.
• Adhering to data protection regulations and laws at all times.
• Completing additional ad hoc tasks when requested.

The Person:

• Understanding of both civil and criminal legal justice systems; experience in clinical negligence is ideal.
• Ability to work independently.
• IT literate with excellent knowledge of Windows and Apple operating systems (training will be provided for bespoke systems).
• Attention to detail.
• Experience communicating with clients via phone and email.
• Driven and self-motivated.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines.
