The successful candidate will:

1. Contribute to the development of the commercial litigation department.
2. Handle a caseload involving shareholder disputes, contentious probate, building disputes, professional negligence, and partnership disputes.
3. Work directly alongside the partner, with opportunities for career advancement.
4. Demonstrate a passion for Commercial Litigation and knowledge of all aspects of the field.
5. Have experience in a leading national or regional law firm and be seeking a new direction.
6. Manage a diverse caseload and have a strong regional network for future instructions.
7. Be proactive in business development and marketing within the local area.
8. Have proven experience in full litigation processes, advising UK and international clients, including corporations, governments, and high net worth individuals.
9. Participate in all litigation stages, including disclosure, case management, drafting witness statements, and trial attendance, as well as settlement negotiations, arbitration, and mediation.
