An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Junior Lawyer to join the compliance function of the team at Teledyne. You will report to the General Counsel for Digital Imaging (Europe, EMEA and APAC).

Your responsibilities:

1. Compliance and Risk Management:
   • Support the implementation and monitoring of compliance programs, including ethics and data privacy programs.
   • Assist in identifying and mitigating legal risks related to business operations.
2. Corporate Governance:
   • Maintain corporate records and filings.
   • Support the preparation of board resolutions and ensure compliance with corporate governance standards.
   • Provide day-to-day legal advice to internal teams on various matters, including regulatory compliance and general corporate issues.
   • Conduct legal research and draft memos, policies, and guidelines as needed.
   • Assist in managing disputes and litigation, including coordinating with external counsel.
3. Mergers and Acquisitions:
   • Assist with due diligence of potential acquisition targets and the integration of newly acquired businesses.
4. Reviewing and advising on NDAs and other commercial agreements.
5. Training and Education:
   • Help deliver training sessions to staff on legal topics such as data protection, intellectual property, or contract management.

Your Experience:

• Legal experience (minimum 1 year required)
• Experience in reviewing commercial contracts or related commercial experience
