Job summary
A financial services firm in London City Centre is looking for a Paralegal for a 6-month fixed-term contract. The role involves supporting a collaborative legal team with fundraising, corporate matters, and various legal queries. Candidates should have an LPC or Law Degree and 1-2 years of paralegal experience in Financial Services.
Qualifications
- Must have an LPC or at the very least a Law Degree.
- 1-2 years paralegalling experience at either a Law Firm or in-house within a Financial Services firm.
- Exposure to Financial Services.
Responsibilities
- Reviewing, drafting and negotiating commercial contracts.
- Attending board meetings, drafting board minutes, and organizing board meetings.
- Providing company secretarial assistance where necessary.
- Researching current legal issues and assisting with horizon scanning.
- Assisting with any ad-hoc legal queries.
