This is a well-established, defence team with strong retailer-facing experience. The team comprises around 17 staff, including six litigators, and has deep expertise in managing employers and public liability claims from large corporate clients. The culture emphasises technical excellence, collaboration, and continuity.

The Defendant PI Solicitor - EL/PL will be:

• Handle exclusively complex, litigated EL/PL disputes
• Acting for major retail clients
• Working effectively within a team of six litigators and broader support staff
• Delivering efficient, client-focused defence strategies
• Maintaining high standards of professional knowledge across EL/PL litigation

The Defendant PI Solicitor should be:

• A solicitor (or equivalent) with solid experience defending personal injury claims, specifically in EL and PL
• At least 2 years\' PQE, preferably in a complex defence setting
• Confident handling high-stakes, litigated caseloads with minimal oversight
• Collaborative, technically adept, and comfortable working entirely on defended matters
