PQE: NQ – 2 Yr

Our client, a leading boutique London law firm, is looking to recruit a lawyer (NQ – 2 yr PQE) with experience in international arbitration, energy, or construction / engineering disputes to join their small team serving established clients on high-quality construction projects.

Responsibilities include:

1. Assisting partners and consultants with their matters as required
2. Handling smaller matters independently under supervision
3. Drafting construction and engineering documents, including contracts, letters of intent, warranties, security documents, and documents for contentious matters such as pleadings, instructions to Counsel, and settlement agreements
4. Advising clients on contractual interpretation, statutory requirements, and strategic issues
5. Representing clients at mediations, arbitrations, adjudications, and court proceedings when appropriate
6. Assisting with matter administration, including time recording, billing, and engaging third parties
7. Managing and supervising paralegals and staff where appropriate
8. Recording chargeable time accurately and punctually
9. Maintaining records of CPD and non-chargeable activities
