The role of NWAS Fleet Driver / workshop assistant is to provide a logistical solution for NWAS vehicles movement around the Trust to meet workshop requirements. Effective personal time management and planning are a key element of the role. On site support at Fleet workshops also sees daily operational requirements including general workshop assistant duties encompassing but not limited to vehicle decommissioning decal removal, general workshop assistance, and associated cleaning duties. • Provide a logistical solution for NWAS vehicles movement around the Trust to meet workshop requirements.
• Manage personal time and planning effectively.
• Support daily workshop operations including vehicle decommissioning, decal removal, cleaning duties and general assistance.
• Operate across 365 days with a rotating shift pattern, earning a 12.5% day‑shift salary uplift.

• Full UK driving licence with category C1 entitlement
• Drivers CPC Qualification
• GCSE grade 4–9 in English Language or Literature (or equivalent qualifications)
• GCSE grade 4–9 in Mathematics (or equivalent qualifications)
• Working knowledge of driving legislation
• Good geographical knowledge

• Experience of working in the transport, logistics, fleet or motor industry.
• Experience of working with Microsoft office packages (Microsoft 365).
